"Behold, the Lord will pass by, and before the Lord, a great and powerful wind will be rending the mountains and shattering the rocks; but the Lord will not be in the wind. After the wind, an earthquake, but the Lord will not be in the earthquake. After the earthquake, there will be a fire, but the Lord will not be in the fire. After the fire, there will be a sound of a gentle breeze, and the Lord will be there."

The Kingdom of Heaven is like a mustard seed ....
which a man took and sowed in his field, which indeed is the least of all the seeds; but when it is grown it is greater than the herbs and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come to nest in its branches.

About Days of Grace
This photo journal begins on January 6, the great feast of Theophany, God's revelation of His Son to the world. It attempts to translate into images the ways in which God daily reveals himself to us through the quotidian mysteries, the everyday moments. With a picture a day, I hope to chronicle living in the year of grace of our Lord. Through these images I hope to capture a taste of the rhythm found within the Orthodox life, and inspire myself and others to seek the Lord in the sound of the gentle breeze.
